Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Improvement Projects

As part of the Safe Route to School Program, Santa Clara County Roads and Airports was leading an active role in improving County roadways to provide Countywide safe pedestrian and bike routes within the school neighborhood.

DEENSCORP was contracted for professional engineering and construction support services. Our team provide civil and traffic engineering services for the development of concept plans, final design (PS&E), and construction support for multiple SRTS Projects to enhance the pedestrian and bike facilities and traffic signal operation along school routes including:

• Magdalena Avenue Widening, Los Altos
• Fleming Avenue Widening, San Jose
• Mahoney Avenue Widening, San Jose
• Lyndale Area (Kirk, Hyland, Wilbur, Nancy, Florence), San Jose
